After receiving his Doctor of Pharmacy, Ronan LE BOT started his career in the industry. A variety of professional experiences and more particularly with AVENTIS allowed him to gain a highly-specialized expertise in preclinical evaluation of drug candidates. In 2011, Ronan LE BOT created Atlanthera together with the scientific team members, and became CEO and main shareholder.

Cécile CARYDIS joined the company in November 2009 as Legal and Human Resources Manager. Before joining the company, Cécile Carydis worked as a legal expert at the University of Nantes, more particularly for its technology of transfer office, its subsidiary Capacités (sas) and its public interest group Arronax (2007-2009). From 2001-2007 she worked as a legal expert for the American pharmaceutical group Schering Plough. She holds a postgraduate degree in Health Law and a Master in Human Resources.
